CONFIGURATION TRAINING CLASSES

This two-day training session focuses on developing and configuring advanced applications using the Star2Star system. The Star2Star system is feature rich and if configured correctly will enable your customer to meet or exceed the needs of their business. Please take this worthwhile opportunity to spend the time to learn how to maximize the potential of this total solution. Taking advantage of Star2Stars End-to-End Architecture can seem a daunting task to the uninformed but with a little training and practice you can learn how easy it is to manipulate this system into a multitude of custom designs. This training session is designed to lead you through the Star2Star web portal from basic to advanced in a detailed hands-on scenario based training lab which will familiarize you with the necessary tools to be successful in deploying custom applications for your customers.

2-day Configuration Training

Required: This is a 2 day training session. Attendees are required to attend both days. Laptops are required with Macromedia Flash installed. If you are uncertain whether your PC can run Flash please visit our web site. You should be able to run the Broadband speed test. Your laptop should also be able to download and view .PDF files. You can download the Adobe Reader at www.adobe.com. Please disable the wireless feature when attending the training session as a wired internet connection will be available. Please have your Star2Star Dealer Portal access credentials available. Prior to taking the course please log in to the Star2Star Portal and take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the portal layout as we will use this extensively during the training sessions. If you do not have a log in ID and password please contact your Star2Star sales representative.

Note: Dealer Training is a separate two day training course and is required for dealers/owners to become certified as representatives of Star2Star. This course is usually a pre-requisite for the dealer or organization prior to registering for the Applications/ Configuration Training. A comprehensive Technical Training course will be made available in an online format for installation technicians and is required for any dealers wishing to install their own systems. A comprehensive Sales Training course will also be made available in an online format for sale personnel. Students will take a certification test upon completion of the on-line training programs requiring an 80% or greater score to achieve full certification.
