Select a course link below to find class information and Online Registration Forms. New Star2Star Dealers and Distribution Partners must fill out the Online Registration Form for each course they wish to attend. Please select from the following Training options below:

Dealer Training Classes

This is a required course for all new dealer principles/owners. This 2-day class is held in our Sarasota, FL. and Long Beach, CA training facilities. The training session focuses on selling the StarSystem and will cover business related processes including detailed Quote Calculator training, product/applications and service overview, sales and marketing support, a technical overview of the Star2Star End-to-End Architecture, pre/post sales engineering support, ordering, number porting, finance policies and procedures, product overview of VOA circuits, Dealer Portal access and the StarPedia resource library.

During these sessions, you will also learn about the pre-installation survey. The implementation process of a working StarSystem is available in StarPedia as an online tutorial for your technicians (see Technical Training Classes below).

Configuration Training Classes

This is a required course for individuals who will perform StarSystem configurations. This 2-day class is held in our Sarasota, FL. and Long Beach, CA training facilities and is run by a group of seasoned individuals well versed in best practices for building a StarSystem Application. The training session focuses on developing and configuring advanced applications using the Star2Star system. There are several student practical sessions during this course.

The Star2Star system is feature-rich and extremely flexible. If configured correctly it should enable your customer to meet or exceed the needs of their business. Please take this worthwhile opportunity to spend the time to learn how to maximize the potential of this total solution.

Technical Training Classes -- Online

This Online installer certification training session focuses on the technical and implementation side of the StarSystem and is a required course for anyone installing a StarSystem. To participate, you are required to have a basic computer networking background. A series of modules are available for students to work through at your own pace with a test requiring a score of 80% or greater to achieve full certification.

You will learn about the configuration and implementation process of a working StarSystem. After completing this course, you should have sufficient understanding of the implementation process and therefore be competent to install a StarSystem.

Sales Training Classes

This is not a required course. The Sales Training module is available as an Online tutorial course. This Online training session focuses on pre-sales system feature and benefit topics.
